Research Interests
My research interests are focused on how matter behaves under extreme densities and temperatures, such as those found in the first millionth of a second after the Big Bang and inside compact stars like neutron stars. My work aims at developing theoretical models to be tested against nuclear and particle experiments as well as astrophysical observations. My lines of research include the equation of state of neutron stars, dark matter in compact stars and heavy hadrons in the hot dense medium produced in particle accelerators.
