Research Interests

His research interests are focused on two main topics. On one side, he is developing new instrumentation for space and ground-based telescopes. In particular, he is involved in projects like ARIEL (ESA M4 mission) or the TJO robotic telescope (OAdM observatory, Spain). On the other side, he is interested in stellar physics, specially in massive eclipsing binary stars, to better determine their fundamental properties and their applicability as standard candles for the Cosmic Distance Scale.
